Aaradhna Performs Live at Old St Paul's
At last, the wait is over. Aaradhna, Aotearoa R&B royalty, returns with new music and a national tour, stopping in at Old St Paul's for one night only.
Groundbreaking Aotearoa R&B-hip hop artist Aaradhna, whose chart-topping work with Adeaze in the mid '00s was recently celebrated in director Oscar Kightley's superb 2021 documentary on Dawn Raid Entertainment, is on a momentous nationwide tour. The Sweet Surrender Tour is her first in five years!
She teased her return with the dramatic spoken word self-titled piece, 'AARADHNA', which featured a stunning video from acclaimed director Anahera Parata. This was followed by the powerful single ‘SHE’, her first new music in seven years.
Aaradhna's fourth studio album, the well-reviewed Brown Girl was released in 2016. The album explored her own experience of casual racism in New Zealand, and it debuted at number one. It also cracked the albums chart of Switzerland.
