Old Government Buildings Summer Saturday Tours
Join us for a guided tour of Old Government Buildings! Available Saturday the 16th of December, then each Saturday from the 13th of January - 23rd of March.

Our expert guide will take you on a journey through some fascinating history - all while you feast your eyes on the beautiful original features of the building, including the awe-inspiring hanging staircase and stencilled decoration. You'll also visit the Cabinet Room where decisions were made that impacted on all the people of Aotearoa New Zealand.
There are two 90 minute guided tour options each Saturday over summer. Or, if you prefer to go it alone, you can enjoy a self-guided visit between 10am and 4pm.
Numbers for the tours are limited to ensure everyone enjoys themselves, so booking ahead ensures your place. Booking on site on the day is subject to availability.
Please meet your guide at the main entrance on Lambton Quay 10 minutes prior to your tour time.
